  • Way more common than you may think (because people keep it secret). About 25% of people will suffer at some point and young people get it too. Pelvic floor exercises are the best place to start (I'm sure you'll find demos if you Google it). Plus cutting out alcohol, nicotine and caffeine will help.

    Weirdly, drinking plenty of fluids will also help because it'll increase the size of your bladder. Lots of people with bladder weakness cut down what they drink and it makes the problem worse.

    If it continues to be a problem, you can either wear protective pads or seek medical advice.

    Oh, and don't worry. It really is very common particularly when exerting yourself. You could try an electric toothbrush, by the way, as that doesn't require any real effort.
