Please pray for me, my precious, little, blue point Siamese cat, Andrew, died shortly after 8pm this evening, 10/20/2021. He was the most loving, gentle, affectionate, loyal, obedient, intelligent and downright doting cat I have ever known in my life. We were bestfriends for the past 14½ years! 😭💔

Thank you. I'm heartbroken. I plan to hopefully get another kitty in about six months time, right now I'm focused on grieving my loss. I feel sick to my stomach as I write this. I watch Siamese cat videos to hear their meows, because my house is dead quiet. He was probably the cat in my life who lived the longest. The only other pet we had who lived as long as him was our rough collie who passed away about a month, or two after I got Andrew, and she was about 14½ years old herself.

While you cannot replace any specific cat, dog, or other pet. You can make a new friendship with another one; which eases the pain.
Sorry to hear that Rose. I remember you talking about him years ago and me thinking that’s a funny name for a cat.

You don't know me, I've heard alot about you. You brought your mama so much love and happiness and great, uforgettable memories. Eventually mama will get a new cat, not to replace you, but to fill a void and a love for cats, and animals in general.

Dang. I'm really sorry to hear about your pet cat. Losing a pet is pretty hard, especially one that you've had for so long. I still mourn my dead dog from time to time and it's been almost a friggin decade. My thoughts are with you.

Very sorry to hear about Andrew. I know losing a pet is like losing a family member.
My deepest sympathy and condolences. It's hard to lose a member of your immediate family. I've got a 16 yr old cat and 12 yr old dog, I'm not looking forward to the next couple years. I know any day things are going to change. It's been really hard when I've had to make the decision to end their suffering. Hopefully yours didn't suffer. It's hard to remember that they are cats and dogs, if they get to 14 or 16 they've had a long life. Cherish the memories! So sorry for your loss.

I am so sorry for your loss and I know this is probably an unfortunate time that you are going through this. I know what it's like to lose a pet even when you lose a pet you grew attached to.

Right on. Everyone grieves differently. When my cat died, i lasted 3 days before I broke down and went to the shelter.
I've been looking at websites for Siamese kittens, and longing for feline companionship. I feel very overwhelmed, unfocused. I will probably try to get another Siamese, because they're considered relatively non allergic, and unfortunately I have allergies, and sinus issues.
It's so quiet in my home without my special, little guy.
I'm so sorry for your loss, I know how devastating it is to lose a longtime furry friend! 😭 It sounds like he had the best life with you, however, as not every animal gets such a loving and devoted owner! Praying for you!
I don’t think there is a good way or time to lose a pet. Sorry you had this happen.
