There's one user who consistently misuses "use to" and another who consistently uses "could of", "would of", "should of" instead of "whatever auxiliary verb + HAVE"
Nobody bothered by it?
Those are common mistakes. Such errors don't bother me in casual communication, but they lead me to suspect that the writer probably isn't well-educated.
The only time I'm ever tempted to go grammar Nazi is when someone criticises another person's grammar in an ungrammatical way.
Now I have a question for you: Does "Some people do not realise their grammar do not work" sound correct to you when you say it aloud?
I don't give a shit.
I expect correct grammar from people in a professional setting. I don't expect it from people writing posts on an anonymous polling website.
me grammar works good as ill have u know. iam well good at making the words.
Not everyone's first language is english. Lots learn the language just by listening. So did I. I made tons of mistakes.
I'm not fond of those sort of mistakes. If I correct someone's spelling, or grammar it's really an act of love, and charitable intolerance on my part even if the person mistakenly thinks I'm being not so nice. If I think someone is a raging asshole I will generally refrain from correcting them so that they might continue to look like the stupid idiot they are. 😉
It's highly likely that is the very same reason no one ever corrects you. 😉
I'm dyslexic so often I dont notice spelling errors and to a lesser extent grammatical errors unless they are 100% wrong. Not talking about effect vs affect usage but straight up wrong uses for words or extremely poor grammar.
I'm not a grammar nazi but if it looks like a 5 year old typed out a comment I'll be sure to point it out.
