    When I was younger happy songs about people enjoying themselves or being in love used to make me sad because I had no friends/relationship and it reminded me that nobody wanted me 😂😂

    1: Loneliness. You could be upset about holidays, music, or anything else exciting when you're lonely.

    2: Nostalgia. Anything can bring back memories of when you saw, heard, felt, tasted, or read a long time ago.

    Yes that is 100% normal for a song to make you feel sad, they can make you feel sad because of the lyrics that talk about certain topics.
