  • Yeh, call me what you will, everyone's a stoic, that's how one represses their feelings. There's another thing going on, the stoic philosophers just wanna control you, do you imagine I don't let Puritanism stop me from playing card games, dice, ball games, horse racing, theatre, drama and entertainment?

Why is there a belief war that we all believe the same thing? Why not Scottish listening to bagpipes, or the normal thing, Scotsmen going to social gatherings to dance in the dance hall, eat the fancy food there, and declare it the best day of their lives (I saw it on "Local Hero")?

Why not Irish talking to Scottish people like me about shuggadelic things like his Irish friend saying "shug" and my Irish friend telling humourous stories of him doing four leaf clovers and talking to leprechauns, when I'm discussing the song "Perfect", reminiscing a chocolate commercial of a Scotsman's skirt being blown in the wind, saying "it's different", while enjoying all things weird, interesting and different? We're both Goidelic people.
