So when are we going to be over gay people?

  • "I can't think of a single conversation I've had where I had to let someone know I was straight."

Yeah, because most of the time people tend to talk with the general assumption that everyone's straight. Being straight, that's ideal for you and you don't find yourself having to correct people or explain yourself.

Think about it. You're a guy, people probably ask you about your wife/gf, right? No problem, you're straight so you can simply answer them. If you were gay though, how do you answer that question? You're essentially forced to say you're gay or lie (say 'I don't have one'). BUT...before you say why not just lie, it's no big deal...again, put yourself in that position. What if someone assumed you were gay and asked you 'how's your boyfriend doing?'...are you fine with lying and just saying 'I don't have a boyfriend' or would you rather speak up and let them know...'I'm not gay'?

Simple conversations often make mention of something where your sexuality is a factor...like, family life, who do you live with, kids? Spouse? SO?, hey don't you think so-and-so is hot?, etc.

    • You have to think a bit broader though. While what you say is absolutely correct regarding day to day conversation, this whole post is about how the gay agenda has really been force fed by the liberal media to the general population.

Personally, I don't have a huge problem with gays. Even if they wana just throw it out there that they're gay to me. Wonderful, let's move on. One thing I wouldn't do is congratulate them or really talk about it. I'm sorry but it's just something totally outside of my own lifestyle.

The problem comes from the gay community itself and the liberal media. Being homosexual is an alternative lifestyle choice. It's not the norm, it will never be the norm. Anyone who thinks otherwise is very deluded.

      • What exactly is the whole gay agenda thing? I'm not really clear on what it is and where the line is between gays simply existing openly and when it's being pushy. I'm not arguing, just asking.

        • The answer to your question depends on your exposure to media. I mean any media, online, television, etc....

I've seen commercials portraying gay men feeding soup to a child that is clearly not their ethnicity.

That is a bit much to me. Gays wana be gay, fine, gays are traditional family units...nope, nope...not my approval.

Just my opinion. I wana express I mean no harm to homosexuality. It's just that those people made their choice. That's it and that's all.
