  • You mean like you just did now?

I didn't see anyone ask your or anyone else's sexual preference -YET- you still feel the need to tell everyone.

    • I don't think they were throwing that in your face, just trying to make a point for the other side of the argument. Is there another way to do so that would be less "in your face"?

      • Don't know.

Funny thing is I can post and post and post without telling everyone I am a straight male. Why is "I'm Gay" always have to be the first thing out of their mouth?

I wonder how many times a day they tell people in one way or another they are gay.

        McDonald's
-May I take your order please?
-Yes, I'm Gay and would like to have a Fish Fillet and a large Fry. I know you only have straight fries but I'm gay so I guess I have to take them.
-Okay would there be anything else.
-No that's it, did I mention I'm gay?
-Yes you did, that will be $4.00 please
-Is that the gay price or the straight price?
-Its everyone's price please drive forward.
-Do we all have to be in one line? Don't you have a --Gay line?
        -No sorry.

        • You just told us you are a straight male. You were being "in your face" with your sexuality.

        • The difference between the comment situation and the McDonald's situation is that llamalover was responding to a post about whether gay people are very "in your face" about their sexuality or not, while in the McDonald's situation, the information was arbitrarily given. It is important to distinguish if adding that you are gay will be beneficial to the discussion, or whether it will not. In llamalover's case, it added to the discussion. I believe that some people lack this ability to judge the situation, and, yeah, they can be annoying. However, this does not mean that every time the topic of being gay is brought up that there needs to be a disturbance.

            • Cause at Starbucks the barista asks your name and writes it on the cup when you order, instead of saying his name the guy says he's gay?

Then once they make your order they call your name. I envisioned the barista calling out "pumpkin spike latte for gay!"

It was funny in my head :(
