I love my boyfriend and trust him completely but if he so much as talks to another girl I get knots in my stomach. I go out of my way to find out who he is texting and get soooo mad if its anyone of the opposite sex as him. He basically stopped talking to girls because of me. Am I insane?
you hav to build the trust a little more. gys will have girl friends and girls will have guy friends. thats just the way it usually is.
You need to decide, trust him or don't trust him? If you trust him then stop pushing him away from other girls. It's possible that he lied because he was expecting you to be concious about girls, maybe a previous relationship was that way? If you don't trust him, then you've lost the entire basis of relationships, and you need to break it up, or sort something out that means you can trust him again. Stopping him having female friends is unfair and is leading no-where.
Dude, that's not right. If you're that insecure, then you should be alone. Taking away his friends isn't fair when you get to talk to your guy friends. Yeah, you're insane.
I guess it all stems back to when we first started dating he would constantly text other girls. Girls he used to like before me. He even lied about how he stopped. It's really hard for me to trust that he isn't flirting with other girls now.
on a more serious note, this is a problem. And you should stop or else its going to cause strain on every single relationship you have from here on out.

No you're not insane but it's not fair to him. If you trust him then you shouldn't worry about him talking to girls. How would you feel if he didn't want you to talk to guys? Unless he cheated on you there's nothing wrong with him talking to girls. I know what you feel though but you should get over it before your boyfriend leaves you cause of this.
