So i'm learning to drive right...

..and then at night when I'm falling asleep, i feel like I'm driving the car again. I'm half asleep, but it's like I'm having some sort of incredibly vivid dream, i can feel the engine running and everything.

Yes, i know this sounds really weird, but it happens when i play a new sport too. Like if i play tennis, and i haven't done it in ages, then when I'm going to sleep its like I'm playing again, i can feel the way my muscles move, the racket hitting the ball, and everything looks so real...

Is this normal, or am i crazy?

Normal... You re-live things you've done (sort of).
Whenever I drive long distance (2000km), I sometimes dream i'm still driving. The thing is... In my dreams, there are never any cops. That's nice! I wish it was real.

I started a new job a couple of years ago. It's quite technical. For months while I was falling asleep I could not stop doing the job in my head.

    It has stopped now.

Always used to happen to me when I started a new job. For a few nights I would have work-related dreams the weirdest of which involved learning/writing HTML about 15 years ago.

    Lucid dreaming is definitely normal.
When I started my first job I would have lucid dreams of customers coming into my room and demanding I check them out. I would get stressed out and wake up LOL.

I work in a bar and sometimes work as long as 12 hours. When I get home, close my eyes to go to sleep, all I can see is people asking for drinks or I feel like I am making drinks. It feels so real. Some of my co workers have even found themselves half asleep at night wandering around their house trying to find vodka or any other sort of drink mixtures.

Reminds me of when I go to the beach and spend a lot of time in the sea/ocean and then when I lay in bed at night, I can still feel the motion of the waves, as if I'm still in the water.

Sounds cool learning while you sleep.

Normal I'd say, sounds like the hypnagogic state.
