  • Obviously if you're smelling it, it's going into your body via your noise so you ARE breathing it in ....... what's more, it hasn't been through a filter so has more poisonous chemicals than if you did actually smoke it

    • Alot of the chemicals are in the filter so that isnt true. Also when you smell a cigarette its the botanicles that you smell not all the bad chemicals. Second hand smoke is really only harmful if you are in a closed room.

      • So how come my COPD is aggravated by other people's cigarette smoke both indoors and outdoors? There may be chemicals in the filter but most are in cigarette itself.

I can tell you're a smoker and like so many smokers, including myself in the past, in denial because of your addiction.

        • You could just be allergic to things. My mom has bad allergies and the smell of cigarettes or purfume or anything pungent causes her to have asthma attacks.

  • No, it's not normal.
Normal people either smoke, or they don't smoke. They don't do what you're describing.

  • For over 30 YEARS I have been fighting my nicotine habit. It is one of the most addictive substances in existence.
I would suggest you stay as far away from nicotine as you can. Even what you are doing could lead to addiction.
