It's pretty much impossible to get their attention on the street anymore because they bury their faces in their phones and even when you block their path they just pretend they're taking a call and go around you or run in the opposite direction. In the days before smartphones, they would have to be a really cold-hearted bitch to ignore you so blatantly but now the nice ones have an excuse. It's no wonder I'm not getting laid in my 30s anymore.

    Yeah, because blocking someone's path is way too aggressive, it's harassment and intimidation.

    If someone doesn't want to give another person attention the attention seeking person needs to back the Hell off entirely.

    It's not cool to block someone's path to get his or her attention regardless of whether, or not that person has his, or her face buried in a cellphone. Blocking someone's path to get that person's attention is a form of harassment, and can be intimidating. It's definitely not a cool thing to do.

      Incels are a fairly recent phenomenon. The preconditions for incel rage were not as intense 40 years ago. Back then, incels could join the military and kill other incels from a different country in a war to vent frustration. This is the larger problem that I think the OP is addressing. Your super-sensitivity to anything remotely resembling harassment sadly is a sign of the times. You have no tolerance for eye contact from unattractive males (aka creeps), and you are not alone. A large minority of women feel justified punching any unattractive male that holds eye contact longer then a few seconds. Lorena Bobbit now has a large following.

      Sorry to say, but I don't know the answer to this societal problem. Another war might help. We could send these guys to their death in battle. That has been the general solution over the last few centuries. Fewer men means the appreciation for those who are left increases significantly.

    If they don't give you attention cause they're on their phone they wouldnt wanna smash anyway. Im a 30 year old alcoholic who barely works and does tons of drugs and I still get chicks in their early 20s
