Is it normal that the other day I noticed my nose was slightly irritated and dry i think from my acne pads I use and i
splashed some water on my face from the sink and it went away by the next day someone told me water drys you out but it actually got rid of my dryness i also stopped using the pads was it more me not using the pads stopped or did the water help thanks.

    yea sadtruth your dumb water actually does dry you out i did some research and tap water has chemicals in it that can dry you out for instance if you overshower regardless I think my dry skin was more from the pads then cleaning my face with water since the pads is the first time i changed my routine

    Yup. The medicine that treats and prevents pimples dries out your skin. Your best method is using an acne cream and a good moisturizer.

    Sadtruth. Water, hot water in particular, DOES dry the skin by washing away heathy skin cells. Maybe you should do a little research before spouting off in all caps.

    Wasn't the water. Acne pads dry your skin in a huge way and can actually cause more breakouts.
