Site formatting issues

Has the formatting on the site recently changed?
Typing a question or answer does not allow paragraphing or extra lines breaks before subject changes. It just runs the whole thing as one paragraph.
I've even tried edit after post and it doesn't like extra blank lines. A Cr should start a new line and a second CR should put a line in between sentences.

Is this a space saving thing the site has started?

      Don't think it's completely fixed.

      I posted a comment then went back to edit it and for some reason all the spacing and markers went away running every line together no separation of lines or paragraphs at all after edit. ???

    I have no idea what's happened, but I'm seeing the same using Chrome and a Windows PC.

    The solution I've found is CR, space, CR. I've noticed others using hyphens and periods (full stops) to paragraph space.
