    There are Catholics and then there are Irish Catholics from Belfast. You should do some research first and see how they've suffered for centuries and that might change your opinion.

        All religions are if you are trying to make them that way in your mind. Catholicism is not oppressive. I'm a Baptist by the way.

          The teachings of Catholicism are mentally, emotionally, & sexually oppressive. This is especially true if you're a woman.
