Don't worry, I know this sounds cliche but everyone is beautiful in their own way, just get on the bus or walk down the street and I doubt you'll see anybody truly ugly. beauty is subjective, so one day an amazing person will love you for what makes you unique and will think you're the best thing since sliced bread. until then, you need to stop looking to boys and your friends for confirmation of your worth. if you're having self esteem issues just be reassured that everyone is more critical of themselves than others, the girl you think is gorgeous might hate her nose, or thighs, and she might look at you and wish she had your smile etc or slim figure. look in the mirror every day and tell yourself you're gorgeous, you need to believe it before anyone else will, and feeling good will make you look better to others. smile more, shower regularly, use a nicely scented fruity body wash or shampoo and moisturise your whole body, always wear clothes that make you feel good, and eat well and exercise. be kind, help others (charity, helping your mum with chores etc) so you're not focusing on yourself so much. get rid of anyone from your life that puts you down in any way as you don't need them. If you do those things and also concentrate on yourself and things you love to do like sports, bike rides, shopping, going for coffee with friends etc then you'll feel better in no time. the right person always comes along when you stop trying so hard and have fun being yourself, and your relationship will be healthier because you won't be relying on him for reassurance. remember looks are superficial, the right person won't be, and being yourself is good enough.
