Shy/foolish around women (comments appreciated)

I'm a 17yo male. Normally, I have an attitude and tend to have a dominate nature. In the presence of a female however, I somehow become magically timid and shy - blushing 24/7 whenever a girl is around. I can talk about just about anything with a male leading to endless discussions, easily making friends. When speaking to a girl however, I tend to have absolutely no idea what I want to say and usually end up quietly sitting there blushing for no reason until she has departed. Please comment.     One would think if you were spending 24/7 around a girl, you'd get used to her and not blush so much.
    What's the big deal, they are people, too, just people who are prettier than us guys. Perhaps if you got a job working around girls, you'd get over your shyness. Anyway, as you mature you should be fine.

    Make sure you don't make any kind of eye contact and you stare directly at a girls chest while talking to her the entire time.

    I know this happens to me too, but I have an easier time talking to ugly girls. Attractive girls are so intimidating.

    Hi,
    Well it seems we both ignored the 18+ warning cause I'm 17 also. I am in fact a girl so you should just trust me when I say I understand the female mind. I have tons of female friends and tbh we spend roughly 50% of our time discussing boys so I have more than myself as a reference. And let me tell you that many girls find it adorable when I guy blushes! I have met all sorts of guys from confident to shy, from egotistical to anti-social, and all I can say is that every girl has their own unique taste in men. I personally like a guy who is spontaneous and funny and who would take me paint balling and go carting, but I do like some shyness as well. And I know some girls who really like it when a guy is shy so don't worry about anything just yet. Once you find that special girl that likes you no matter how shy you are, then you'll be able to open up and show her just how awesome you really are ;) good luck and don't worry!

    Meet up unplanned anonymous girls and try talking casually. If you embaress yourself, you can exit the door anytime and keep practicing. Otherwise you can always buy yourself a doll if nothing else works.. (y)
