Ok, fair enough. Although you did say in the description that you're sure some of the responses will say that men need to learn self-control, but then you never said that you agreed with that. You just didn't say any more, so it seemed like you were defending men alright. Even if you never mentioned that though, focusing only on what the victims wear, while not even mentioning the perverts who assault them, does give the impression that it's the victims who are to blame. And people who do blame the victims, and sympathise with the attackers, no doubt hold similar opinions to you on what girls wear. So in future you should really mention that you're not making excuses for the attackers then, in order to distance yourself from those people.
Yeah of course I get that you wouldn't want anyone viewing her like that, that'd be disgusting to you, you're her dad after all. Still though, I don't think there's anything wrong with just looking at someone, so long as it's discreet.
Our fundamental disagreement in my opinion is when you say "The men are just discreetly looking, they're not doing any harm" I do not share that opinion. I dont think its ok for men to look at minors that way or for minors to dress in a provocative way. They should not be viewed in a sexual way until they're the age that they're available.
Ok fair enough, but who is being harmed in that scenario then? And how are they being harmed? You have to be able to give a precise proven example to deem it as harmful, otherwise it's just all in your own head.
