Had the same argument with someone who hated the idea of them arming themself. If it was a perfect world, sure arming yourself is paranoid. The world isnt perfect though and small women can easily be overpowered. Guns are the great equalizer, as long as you can pull a 3 pound trigger you can take the largest of opponents on.
