Ask Your Question
Should women work and have jobs or should they just stay at home and raise the kids?
Women should do whatever the Hell they want to do, and can afford to do.
What a progressive and enlightened question...
It gave me a laugh at least :)
Hush you. I hope you have no intention of working in anything other than feminine tasks while you grow that human of yours. Grrr.
How is the pregnancy going, btw?
It's going well thanks! Baby is babylicious. Tits have become comedic in proportions. Desperately craving strawberries... And horny a lot. Husband is pleased.
That last sentence is the most important thing in your life. Don’t forget that. (Please don’t crucify me, I’m being sarcastic)
My name is SwickDinging. It's safe to assume that I wasn't going to take your comment too seriously lol
You know how sometimes you see the beginning and end of a word and your brain can just fill it in? I sincerely thought your username was something like “swingingdick” for the longest time, and I have just paused and discovered that it infact does not have the word swing or dick in it.
Goodness gracious... I would never use language like that. You're hurting my teeny weeny lady ears with your profanity good sir!
At least the strawberries aren't full of needles anymore.
Ikr. That was gross.
I kept forgetting and not checking them haha. I got lucky though, didn't get any tainted ones
I meant to push "yes", but my finger accidentally slipped on the "yes, but only feminine jobs" button. Women have the right to get any job they want
In my neck of the woods BOTH people in the relationship need to work in order to stay afloat. Trying the whole one breadwinner thing here usually ends in foreclosure or divorce. Besides people should work if they want to regardless of gender.
No one should have jobs.
Communism and slavery, I got you.
Everyone should have a job. Men, women and children.
They can do whatever they want. Me personally I enjoy working and feel you can work and raise kids just fine. Both my parents worked and I went to a day care but still saw my parents a lot and did everything with them I didn’t miss out on anything.
I plan on flipping cars in the future as a side job and plan on teaching my future kids how to fix cars and work with them. One thing I love about my boyfriend is how enthusiastic he is on fixing cars too we make a great team.
I’d never want to be entitled to a specific job just because I have a vagina that’s ridiculous. What I have doesn’t determine how well I work and what interests I have or if I shouldn’t work.
I’ve replaced the front end of my car and will soon do an engine swap. And I’m sure fixing cars doesn’t seem feminine but I enjoy it and I’m good at it a hell of a lot better than many guys. I haven’t been to a mechanic in so long because I don’t want to spend $55 a hour in labor when I know I can do it and know I’m doing it well. So like why not? It’s fun to learn new things and do the work to get things done. I can stay home or still work and raise a great kid just fine but other girls can do whatever they want. Or whatever job they want too just like how a male nurse shouldn’t feel bad doing something he may have a passion for. I appreciate someone willing to help others regardless of gender. And I also think it’s cool if a mom wants to stay home and spend all their time on kids but it’s on them for whatever they chose.
I don't believe anybody should have a job
You're a prisoner of your provider. Do I want to be a prisoner in my home again, without the kind of protection that the government offers workers?
No, so of course, I think I should be allowed to work. I also don't want family or close relationships. Being forced to be stuck with and depend on people would annoy me.
That's no life worth living to me.
Depends on the situation.
Income, number of kids.
What the couple is comfortable with.
Childcare is expensive, and lets be honest.
Knowone will ever care for their kids as totally as a mother does.
But in todays world and the cost of living being what it is.
Economics take over.
Doubling the workforce did a number on wages. Economics and society crashed together and this is the results. Makes you wonder what would of happened if ww2 didn’t start.
WWII did have an impact.
But it wasnt alone.
There was a shift in the U.S. govt.
At the very top.
The fact you pay FICA.
Health care is now for profit.
Higher Education is priced out of range for many.
Corporations are ' people '
The tax rate for the richest has been all but eliminated.
Special interest control the governments path.
Meanwhile propogana has become 24/7.
Ala fox news, rush, hannity, larson, etc.
They convince people to vote against their own best interest and when that fails.
They suppress votes, use the electoral college, or let the puppet supreme court decide.
Would it all have happened without WWII?
Greed is greed.
Its never content.
The only question is how much longer the same end result would have taken.
if youre gonna make women stay at home, you better damn well raise the minimum wage so the man can financially support the family
Funnily enough it will raise the minimum wage. Less workers means more competitive wages.
I’d be ok with being a stay at home mother if I knew I would be treated as an equal, and that my s/o made enough to comfortably support 3/4 people.
wateva they want. Women can speak for themselves.
Of course women should have jobs, they should have the exact same opportunities as men. Does the op who posted this page think that there are still many people around who think like they did in the 19th century and early 20th century? I guess so far, 11 people do, who voted "no" to the op's question.
I copied this post and asked "Should men have jobs" Funny no comments, that says something in its self.
Yes! I can finally say “asdfghjklasdfghjklzxcvbnmqwertyhjklll”
And while saying that cook dinner, but grab us a beer first (slaps her ass)
And you build the house with five bedrooms, three bath, a pool and two car garage— oh and go to war as well. That’s the manly thing to do.
Easy, I'm a man.
I also want you to tame a wild animal for me as well
How would we know what to do without a man telling us how to raise the kids? I'm confused.
I would love a man that makes more money than me so I could have and take care of a baby
Youre wife material
There's certain jobs in the Navy, particular kinds of rescue, that women definitely shouldn't be doing because they don't have the lung capacity. Unfortunately science has proven this.
And I don't think that men should be attending female toilets or measuring girls for bras.
I think apart from a couple of random exceptions such as these there's not much difference in genders when in the work place. Blanket assumptions don't apply to a lot of people.
Stop worrying about the genders of your coworkers and start worrying about world war 3. It's coming...
On a logistical note doubling the workforce did cause a lag in wage increases. Not saying that all females should be in the kitchen making sandwiches, we can’t go back on it. But most of the welfare system and the support safety nets in America are built with this old worldview in mind. All comes down to the freedom of it. If she wants to work good for her, If she wants to stay at home don’t disparage her either.
Yeah so does importing illegal immigrants. The labor force is too large and theres no competition between jobs for workers. The more jobs and the less workers the more the pay goes up.
We shouldn't even have jobs in the first place
Lesbians exist and would probably rather have money than be homeless.-A guy who knows this is probably a joke but commenting incase it's not.
Women can have only after raising kids and pleasing husband. I would love to live 50...80 years ago. Nowdats womens are selfish, only jobs, money, drinking.
Come to the south man women arent liberals out here. Theyre very conservative and they want to be house wives.
In an ideal world women should stay at home and raise the kids. That's the best way for a society. My wife stays home and I can tell you her job is much harder than mine. I just clock in and out and make the money. Its so much better having a stay at home wife. Theres so many benefits to it.
Women often have to do it all on our own.
If you can afford to have a parent stay home with the kids then you’re doing better than the vast majority of the world. It used to be true that only one parent could work and afford to provide for everything. That’s sadly not the case any more. However, of course I think women should be able to have jobs. Gender has nothing to do with being able to work. If a woman is qualified for a position over a man, she should get it. At the same time though, I think it’s bullshit when some of the fake feminists (the anti-men coalition) claim that a woman deserves to go right to the top because she’s a woman and deserves it for just that reason. That’s absolutely ridiculous. I don’t care if you’re black, white, woman, man, asian, muslim, hispanic, etc., if you are qualified for a position, that’s all that matters. I also think we need to ban “at will” states because it’s basically a loophole to discriminate against minorities and women.
Its easy to make 100+ thousand in America really. I could name you 10 jobs right now you can get with no highschool degree and make that. UPS and Walmart pays drivers 40 an hour. Theres a national shortage of drivers too. Its super easy to get rich in America but sadly some ppl are too dumb to do it.
Seriously though man, I have a college degree, no arrests, lots of prior work experience doing tons of different jobs. Since I graduated though I’ve applied to over 500 positions including easy minimum wage jobs and still can’t even get a 7/11 to hire me. So please, if you have any suggestions please let me know because I’m desperate.
Damn man where do you live??? I have a few friends who work for UPS and they only make $22/hr
