We as the males of the country do have the right of freedom to choose whether or not we should serve the country. Unfortunately, we do not have a choice.
Serving the country in the military is a national duty and all citizens regardless of gender or background has to be able to contribute.
My take on this, either impose military service for both genders or abolish it completely. why should one gender be only responsible for the safety of the country when it should be everyone's responsibility.
true, women demand equal rights, but they have to contribute in order to be given those rights. We men are more or less preferred over certain roles as we have deserved our placing over serving the nation and protecting it.
well, the above paragraph applies for countries where the males are required to serve.
