With some exceptions, yes. I mean, nobody would expect a breast-feeding mother to be conscripted (and bring her child, presumably).
But, in principle, I don't see why conscription should be male only (unless there are other non-gender considerations). From what I've heard, women make good soldiers.

Conscription is against my religion. We're supposed to rely on the rythm method.
