So, I moved out of my mothers house a little less then 2 years ago. The job involves a great deal of traveling. In fact I haven't been back to the states since I left. Phone is limited to where I can find internet and hook up the magic jack. I'm in a lot of third world countries. We mostly communicate by email. So, this Christmas, I thought I found her a decent gift. She's always asking for pictures, so I sent her one a local took of me working....so, my mother blew it up, framed it, and.... put it in the bathroom? I don't know what to think of this....

(Yes, I am aware it's not Christmas yet, but I'm not too sure I'll have internet during the holidays.)

    You're always in fuckin third-world countries,which are constantly SHIT.She put the picture in the shithouse so she could always be reminded of where you are.It's no big deal.

    I would be offended and a little weirded out. The impression I would get from that is that I remind her of shit or that she puts you in there with all of her smells and she comes to look at your photo during her most difficult times... I fail to see why she couldn't hang it up in another room.
