No, but I think there should be more regulation so free speech isn't hampered.

  • to the extent that they haven't already, such organizations will eventually become quite cozy with the state, and using their vast influence and wealth, they may begin to be the ones writing the laws. inevitably, they will use newfound regulations which they themselves have coauthored in order to amass power and a variety of state-backed privileges which will allow them to circumvent the market's usual mechanisms of taking care anyone who gets too big for their britches. I am not certain to what extent that I would trust the state of all institutions to break them up, but I wouldn't mind it if it were the case that a number of individual producers and collectives had the ability to provide alternative services or commons to these businesses which, however much markets might have contributed to their success, will end up being captured by the unfair advantages that such powerful institutions are sure to acquire from politicians desperate for campaign money.

I don't use any of the one's you mentioned, but no. If I grow a buisness, empire, whatever, no one should be able to break it up. As bigbudchonger said, there should be regulations to protect free speech.

Those companies have made thousands upon thousands of millionaires. Its always easy to look at how much CEOs make and think that corporations are all bad but theres people running them making a lot of money. Even many of the regular workers have good salaries and healthcare.

I think the biggest problem is amazon has gotten too many tax advantages and apple and google works too much with the government. The government basically runs google. The world is not that black and white. Its not as simple as corporations bad. Theyre good and bad.

What about google who is actively interfering with elections?

YouTube isnt much better with censoring anyone who makes "unverified vaccine claims" aka anyone they damn please. Since some channels cited the CDCs own website and got banned.

Google is basically state run media at this point. Google owns youtube and is 100% controlled by the US government.

But even so I believe that google is also good. Im on an android phone now which is created and owned by google. Theres people that use this technology to trade stocks and make millions. Google has created a lot of wealth for a lot of ppl with their stuff. I think breaking up google is a bad idea.

With that said id like to see more competition thats not controlled and handing over data to the US.
