Homosexual acts were decriminalised in Scotland by the Criminal Justice (Scotland) Act 1980, which took effect on 1 February 1981, and in Northern Ireland by the Homosexual Offences (Northern Ireland) Order 1982.
There was still people being arrested up until at least 1981 in Scotland.
I’m not saying I’m an expert in the matter I just don’t like the thought of some hetero telling me what is right when it concerns the minority I belong to.
