A phrase often used to try to sound philosophical and cool actually fits the bill to describe what I just went through! "Without darkness you wouldn't know light".
Went to your profile, looked up your posts, and like a unstoppable Walkure breaching through the storm clouds you seem to have picked up the slain corpse of intelligence -died while valiantly defending reason- and lifted it up towards the Great Halls and Odin his eternal banquet. (apparently currently located Down Under somewhere, so might be a BBQ and Odin might be for a waltzing Mathilda walk. If you will accuse me of stereotyping I'l add a dingo-eating koala to the image.)
Sorry, extreme fever at the moment and for some weird reason that always boosts my silliness, the tunnel vision towards my sense of humor (typical problem of self-evaluation; runaway process of self enforcing false assumptions) and finally makes my uncontrolled and unbridled interesting-thoughts-addiction even worse.
To be honest, just saying I was impressed and delighted to find a person with hefty dose of common sense and who is impervious to group pressure and manipulation.. don't know, seemed to straightforward for this website. (And I actually did have that scene pop up in my mind, complete with Wagner and all. So there, did I thank you for your posts by a quick laugh perhaps, or have I "weirded" you out too much and labeled "one of those nutters")
