So like my best friend, he's 20 I'm 19, he's like my bro, came out right and he's like "I've liked you for a long time" so I'm like "woah" right. I'm from The Valley so it's like totally okay to be gay right but like I'm definitely not gay. But he's like my best friend I just like don't date dudes right like it's not my thing.

Anyway he's been like super depressed so I've been spending money on him right and he says he's like "only happy with you" but like saying that to me. He says he's like totally in love with me. But his dad is like super strict right and he says if his dad finds out he's gay he will send him to fucking Manhattan which is like stupid far away. What do I do?

    For fuck's sake, your manhood should definitely tell you to stay straight. That is not your problem and it doesn't have to. You would lie to yourself anyways, so that would be fake, but still, you shouldn't try to be gay even if you felt like wanting that. No, definitely not, don't do that. I don't understand why they are so weak and depressed anyways...it's wrong.

    Dude, I know you feel like you are hurting him, but if your heart ain't in it, then don't date him. You can't change your sexual orientation, so it's not like you would go gay (or even bi) for him.

    Be a supportive friend, but make it clear that shit is staying in the friendzone. Maybe look for clubs and bars in your area or tell your friend to install Grind.

    Friendcrushes happen to people of all orientations, and any kind of unrequited love hurts.

    What the fuck, the guy is an adult and his father would send him somewhere? Does your friend live with his father? If so, he should start living on his own. If his father isn't talking about moving out, but about sending him to "conversion therapy", then this is illegal (well, still, as long as Mike Pence doesn't do dumb shit). If he tries this shit, your friend can go to court.

    Be supportive, but don't get into it if you are truly straight.
