I only vote yes because you shouldn't have to worry about it, if you feel your gf would make fun of you or leave, perhaps it is best so you can find a gf who wouldn't be like that. But you have to be ready to give her that test. Because if she does make fun or leave, it will be her loss, not yours. There is nothing to lose if a person is going to make you feel like that. Regardless of being ready or not, it will still hurt if she acts the way you fear she could. Just look at is as more as gaining something, a chance to find a gf who does give a damn and doesn't tease people who have problems. Honestly people have problems, so does she.
