One thing I'm sure is that you have to tell her and the sooner the better. Oral or genital herpes? You know that there is no cure and that the only way treatment is taking antiviral to avoid spreading it. There are a lot pf people who live with herpes and do not even know it. Medical attention is Kind of secondary to the infection. Once you are infected with a herpes simplex you are totally fucked. It alters your skin cells on a molecular level. They have treatments that help. But u can't get rid of it even if u identify it before the first eruption. Which is highly unlikely. And a few weeks ago, that's the perfect incubation time for such an infection to show. You got the herps man. Do us all a favor.
