Bro? I know you are turned on by knowing I am genetically male (along with other TG around here). You keep bringing that up and yes, I really am that old. I have a son older than you.
I hear people my age talking about how rotten kids are today. Or the old cliche that every generation says, "We respected our parents and teachers, we worked for what we wanted."
Nope. My generation was just as rotten as today's kids as well as the baby boomers.
OH Hey DNM, here is something you might chuckle at -
OK so today, cell phones and social media are crammed down our throats, Any new movie or show they just HAVE to remind us that yes, cell phones exist. In the 80's they liked to cram television down our throats. That and stereos and boom boxes. Just ask your parents about how in the 80's, they liked to rub TV in our noses the way they do cell phones today.
Here is an example. Now the song is about a relationship ending. But the video is a gymnast doing flips and TV's all over the place. Just scroll the video here and there, no need to bore yourself with the entire song. If this video were made today, the band would likely be standing around with their cell phones recording the gymnast
Asia - Only time will tell.

OH also - here is one. Around 2:10, we see this kid in a maze staring at a TV screen and a few seconds later, he gets sucked in and trapped. I guess not much has changed after all. But yeah the whole video is bizarre, like a lot of stuff in the 80's.

Tell ya what, anytime you want to discuss 80's stuff, bend my ear.
Okay man If I have any more questions about that era I can just hit you up.
As far as the rest of it, I think your right on that your generation was just as bad, just with different hang ups. I kinda think it's that way with every generation ever. Different struggles but a similar amount of struggle on the whole. I don't think the way people think has really changed that much, were not all as different as we think we are.
Should I say something?

Okay so you have been there. That's just a little younger than my parents, but a lot has changed since you grew up I imagine.
