No one should work in a hostile work enviroment as such your sentiments on quiting are substantiated...but,of equaly if not more importance OP do you have another job lined up...does it pay better. As i'm not in your shoes i cannot definitively say which direction you should take but i would suggest you weigh your options clinicaly first.
I dont have a job lined up and im forced to take a gamble here. In my line of work employment is based upon immediacy so in order for me to be able to find a new job i need to make sure im not leaving my current employer shorthanded. As it turns out i've put in my notice but theres no exact date, its still "up in the air". As soon as we can get a new employee on board im going to set a date and hope for the hope, lol.
