In my experience of using tinder, "come to my house for a cuddle" does NOT mean "come to my house for a cuddle"
If you want to meet someone you've met online;
A) properly vet them first. Talk to them for at least a good few days, get to know a bit about them and see if they give you good vibes. I'd probably also suggest asking for their facebook or another form of social media, to check they're genuinely who they say they are.
B) Meet them in a busy public place for the first couple of times you meet them. No going back to their house on a first date.
Even that isn't 100% foolproof, but the majority of nasty characters who would want to do harm to you won't make it through that process.
This is serious. He is -probably- a perfectly decent guy who just wants to hook up and have some casual sex (with your consent). He might not be though, people have been catfished and even raped using these apps to hook-up before, you have to be so careful.
P.S Please don't say I'm "victim-blaming" by saying this shit. Rape is ALWAYS the fault of the rapist, but it does you absolutely no harm to take some precautions anyway.
Should I meet up with a guy I met online?
