I'm afraid of how similar this is to my situation. Or maybe relieved that I'm not the only one.
The difference is that I did get good grades, but my older sister didn't. I saw the consequences. My old folks really lecture the hell out of her. It sounds really degrading. Even me, who isn't even relevant to the scolding, feel like dirt just listening. It used to make me cry when they do that. My sister doesn't like me very much, too.
I still haven't spoken to my parents about it. They don't like it when I cry and they don't like to get emotional. I still don't speak to them about it because I will cry if I do. They don't like it.
