    It's not necessarily hasty. Do what makes you feel happy. If he does? Go ahead. Always have your own protection on guard. If he doesn't wish to use a condom, ensure you have your protection. If he truly cares for and respects you he'll do his part in using a condom if that makes you more comfortable
