Should I go to see an old friend, and perhaps become much more?

  • Anything in life can go badly, but your own protective walls will hurt you more than anything outside them ever could because of all the regrets you'll have.

Good love does not stop you from being independent. Love should add to your life not take away from it.

Also, tell him what you feel before you meet. Then he'll be understanding if you do feel uncomfortable and it'll be less awkward. No need for protective walls :)

    • Could the person who thumbed me down mind explaining why they did that? Being thumbed down doesn't usually mean anything to me, but this time I really believe I gave the OP the words they need to hear to help them make the best choice for them. I can't think of anything stupid in what I said.

OP. If you want to visit him, you shouldn't let the fear or the worry hold you back. I know it might be scary, but life has to have risks in it or you will die with one more regret than you needed to have.
