If they're not causing pain or problems, I'd leave them. I have one friend who really needed it, and another who's dentist told her it's no big deal to keep them and save the expense and pain if they're not problematic.

    • bottom one is in diagonal and mildly annoying, that's about all. they said if i get that one taken out i should get the top ones out too as there'd be nothing for them to go against, seems like bs tho cuz I only have 1 on the bottom anyway. That's the one I'd mainly want out, but I wonder if it'd be odd to leave the rest of them.

You need to. Your teeth will shift. Serious.

It's painful. I waited and they started pushing against my other teeth and that sucks

Your wisdom teeth arent meant to be there and as time goes on and your wisdom teeth grow in, they will cause your other teeth to shift causing your teeth to become very crooked. Happened to my mom and dad. Not me. Got all four of mine out at once(: good luck though.. It hurts. Just keep in mind that the older you get the more its going to hurt.

My friend waited too long to get his wisdom teeth taken out. Over the years the wisdom teeth wound up putting pressure on some of his back teeth and two shattered when he ate a sandwich. It was painful for him.

If there's not enough room for your wisdom teeth to come in nice and straight then it's probably best to have them takenote out, because otherwise the wisdom teeth can cause your other teeth to move.

Depends on your finances. Chances are you can leave them in there without too much worry--our ancestors certainly did. Though they had stronger jaws that allowed them more space there, too. Ought to chew falim gum.

They don't need to come out. I have all of mine and they're actually dead like most of my molars and I've never had a problem. It's an upsell for a dentist to recommend this.

If your wisdom teeth hinder your ability to chew food, maybe evolution is telling you something.

Get them out while you can if you have the money, insurance etc. Mine are impacted and I was told they would need to come out with an oral surgeon. I did not do it when I had the health insurance and money, being afraid and thinking I can do it later when they become a problem. Now I don't have the money and I worry what will happen in the future. They can cause problems with bacteria building up under the gums and I believe they have also caused my teeth to move a little bit since I no longer have the bottom retainer I used to wear after braces. I'm going to try to get a new retainer soon. I have a friend who had all of them out but one and it has come in completely but has caused some other teeth to become crooked recently. He does not have the funds to get that one out now. What a nightmare. Get them out while you can. I assume you are young. I am 40 now and my friend is older. It's easy to think it's fine when you're in your 20s. Just plan ahead for the future as best you can is my advice. Don't expect everything will be fine later because it generally isn't. Maybe talk to another dentist or oral surgeon and get a second opinion.

My wisdom teeth were impacted so I got them removed. I was in so much pain before I couldn't eat. I would trust your dentist because the pain isn't worth it.

depends on the way they are growing in, if they come in wrong it can mess your entire jaw up, if the doc says they need to be removed you should probably take they're advice.

If you don't care about crooked teeth leave em in. If you want a hollywood straight set of teeth take em out.

Medically i don't believe they need to come out as much as they'd have you believe.
