I wouldn't tell anyone that, it didn't happen, so don't let yourself believe it's still a big deal.
Once you threw the bat, there was two results, either it hit him or it didn't, you got the good result, so why make a bad thing out of it?
Let it be an example of what could possibly happen when you loose your temper... I wouldn't think about it again, because, it did not happen. Don't punish yourself.
