OP I think your body type sounds fine, 120 and curvy IS hot. If he was joking it was not a funny joke...
Anyway my advice is to date nerds or maybe manual worker types rather than gym rats. Muscle boys tend to be vain, selfish and spend too much money on supplements and dumbells when they should be spending it on YOU.
I've always dated and attracted the manual labor types, I just decided to not judge a book by its cover with this one. Plus he spent about 6 months courting me, I made him work, and he stood by, so I figured he might not be so bad after all, hey why not
He is attracted to my personality I know this because he tells all his friends that I'm not a bimbo like their girl friends, buuuuuut....
It's just this one thing he said, and he said it so casually, idk if this is a red flag warning sign...sighh. if he keeps it up im out ill bounce
And yes, he spends all his money on supplements and protein shakes lol

The rest of the time he doesn't sound bad except for the supplement stuff. If I were you I'd give him a large hint that you'd like to hear compliments about your looks too.
