  • One of the things I hate most about this country. :( As much as I got flak for turning in one of my friends in college after he assaulted me, I was afraid to take it to court because I didnt think anyone would believe me given the circumstances. (Was one of my best friends who I had been "talking" to before the assault occured) I cant even imagine how it would have gone down if I was a man, and thats not right.

You should be beleved just as readily as any girl who claims sexual harrassment. Hell, Ive read accounts where a man called the police on a rape case and had the cops laugh at them. :( Im sorry that happened to you.

    • It's good that you turned him in if he assaulted you. There is no acception to any form of assualt, and turning your ex friend in was the right call.

Yep, unfortunatly it does happen, yet everybody would preffer to believe that males that get assaulted doesn't happen, and even when it does, the man assualted is laughed at and told to "man-up". It's sickening. I mean, even the Debra Levave case. She wwas a teacher that has ex with a fourteen year old, and she didn't even get prison time...If it was a male teacher to a female student, the man would of been lynched.
Also, when a woman cut off her husbands penis because he asked for a divorce...The man was made fun of and laughed at by about two hundred women on national television. It's just so sickening.

Don't be sorry, it's all in the past now. Be sorry for the men that get assaulted by women in more severe cases, yet can't do anything about it, they're the real victims of these ways of society.

      Thanks for the reply.
