    I'm an atheist and I'll grasp any excuse to get presents and have extra nice food:)

    Couldn't care less about Jesus. Apparently he wasn't even born then either.

      Indeed, if he ever existed at all - and if he did he was just some guy.

      Xmas was originally a Pagan holiday anyway!

        true, it originated in the pagan holiday of yule, to celebrate the coming of the winter solstice. the christmas tree came from the pagan and roman tradition of placing pine(or fir) boughs in the windows
