Amusing. Like the people who demand people to stop saying "Merry Christmas" and change it to "Happy Holidays"
Or the people who demand the words "Under God" be taken out of the U.S. pledge of allegiance. Those people have had at least some success with that nonsense.
It's CHRIST-mas for a reason. If people who don't believe in the lord and savior Jesus Christ want to celebrate at the same time as the CHRISTians do, in honor of our lord, that's their business.
But it certainly wreaks of hypocrisy, that's undeniable. I don't see why they haven't created their own date of celebration for "I'm cool, and hip, and believe in nothing, but giving gifts is fun, but we're all gonna die and not remember any of this shit."
Should Athiests celebrate Christmas?
