    I still can't believe you're resistant to this. Penguins are like cybermen. Colourless, slow-moving progenitors of... oh, wait, cybermen are bad, aren't they? :/

        This made dappled laugh very much indeed. I actually laughed so much that I put my hand over my mouth, even though I'm alone.

        It also made me think of The Girl Who Waited (my favourite Pond episode). This is a kindness. :/

            It was. I may be a miserabilist but my favourite ones always seem to be the sad ones. Bad Wolf Bay, Rose Tyler's dad, David Tennant's farewell...

                I have indeed! Although he's ruined it a bit by appearing in an advert on British TV where he's all Scottish (how dare he?) and wrestles a squid. A nod to the oods, maybe.

                Much as I've grown to like old Easter Island forehead, I wish the David would come back.
