I got tired of pouring water in the toilet to flush it cause the chain came loose and my landlord keeps telling me to fix it myself.
If you are that helpless, that you can't reattach a loop of a chain to a hook, I feel sorry for you.
You probably shouldn't be living alone and require supervision.
Look into some kind of assisted living. They will put you in diapers and wipe your ass for you.
Where do you live? In the UK and Australia it's illegal for him not to fix it within 24 hours. (The exception being if you have another toilet in your home that you could use.) I would think that would be the same in a lot of countries.
It’ll take just a minute to tighten the chain which will be much less effort than your plan.
Chances are that this person is completely clueless and doesn't know how to fix a simple toilet flush chain. I bet they don't even know how to take the lid off the tank. Millennials are going to be the soilent green of the zombie apocalypse.
The landlord should tell you how to hook the chain. That will solve the problem.
I bet if you took a big hairy one on his face when he's not looking, that would get his attention!
If you are going to do it, do it right. Shit in a bag and leave it on his door step. You make no statement by shitting in a planter box.

Some landlords are scum, but you sound like a pretty obnoxious tenant. Do you also expect him to come around and change lightbulbs when they burn out?
Go ahead and crap in the corner of your living room if you want, but any sane, sensible person would figure out some way to fix the flushing mechanism.
