So I've been seeing this girl for a bit now in college and shes pretty awesome and we're in a relationship. Now I'm not saying it should happen now (I've only known her for about 5 days lol) but when we talk about sex she always says "sometime later, alot later..maybe 3..4 months". Now I respect that but she has been known to hook up quite a bit before she knew me, one night stands and all, she says I'm different because she actually likes me as a boyfriend but shouldn't that mean she trusts me more with sex? I'm willing to wait but it's annoying that she used to hook up in one night stands with guys she doesn't care about and now I have to wait "3 or 4 months". IIN?

    She's probably saying that because she's regretted the hook ups and what not. But something tells me that it'll happen sooner than that. As long as you really are into her and have fun hanging out with her, just give her time and be gentlemanly about it.

    You should respect her for waiting. Just because she did some thing in the past doesn't mean she has to continue the behavior. Also, dude...it's been 5 days haha!

    If you know for a fact that she's had one night stands ect and it was recent, she's BSing you and you're her future punching bag. Tigers rarely change their stripes and they don't do it overnight.

    5 days and you're talking about sex? Tell me a you're not a perv. Did you date her because of her hook up history? 5 days isn't even long enough to be bf & gf. And tell me you did not start talking about sex on the 2nd date. You at least bought her dinner didn't you? Whether she has a raunchy history or not don't try pressure her to sex. I'm sorry but 5 days is nothing.

    I just can't handle that after 5 days all you're concerned about is sex. "She likes me as a boyfriend so I should have sex" Maybe you worded your paragraph wrong and you just seem a little piggish to me.

    It's normal and when you say "known", is that just hearsay and gossip or a solid fact she's had one night stands.

    Perhaps she wants to wait because unlike a one nighter, you mean something special to her and she wants it to be special when you have sex.

    To be honest, I think you should respect her wishes and wait, she'll like/love you all the more for it.
