My fiance is from Canada and we live in Florida, where I am from. We went hiking yesterday since the weather has finally cooled down. Well short story shorter, there was a banana spider right in front of us, no less than 8 inches in diameter.

I am not going to lie, it was one of the biggest I have seen and I have seen plenty. Well my fiance totally freaked out and is threatening to move back to Canada.

I told her we have bugs in Florida, some of them are big. You just have to learn to live with them or exterminate them. Is she overreacting?
