Harsh? I wouldn´t say harsh... I would say stupid and rude. That is probably the image she wants to have here. Being rude and stupid, and then saying it was a joke...Pretty lame. If I were you, I would not take her offences personally, she is not worth your worries.
By the way, you have created a great and interesting poll and some of the answers here are interesting...and that is what counts, not the angry response of a silly girl who has nothing to say to the topic and feels the urge to degrade it anyway...

When I create a poll, I always hope that it will provide me with some interesting information. I suppose most people hope for the same :) Unfortunately, silly comments which have no relevance to the original question are quite a frequent occurrence on IIN.
However, besides those negative comments, there is a lot of interesting ones and that is what counts as you said.
