He was just a jerk, yanno? Initially he was a very charming, and endearing sort of guy then he became increasingly more, and more verbally, and emotionally abusive. That's a common tactic of narcissistic abusers. He did kinda turn the corner to become physically violent when I tried to walk away from him on September 9th of last year, so I called the cops on his sorry ass, and now he has a criminal record.
I feel like verbal abuse doesn't always come from a place of malicious intent, but I do draw the line at physical abuse. I also think verbal abuse is a way different case when someone actually wants to hurt or manipulate someone other than blurting stuff out.
