Sex addiction is definitely a thing. My ex is addicted to sex and even still tries to get me to have sex with him. It interferes with his life because it is all he thinks about. If it weren't for the fact he continually does this me and him would probably be friends but he won't stop asking me to have sex with him, even when he is with someone else.
Hes addicted because he wants it a lot, is not justification for an addiction. I would need his perspective to determine if its runining his life because if how much he wants sex. And as I said in the post, how much sex you have is irrelavent, what matters is your mentality towards the sex you have.
