Pussy-whipped is a term made up by men to describe men who have a metaphorical leesh on them by their female partner to the point that if their partner disaproves of something the man is doing, the man will not continue to do so to appease the woman even at the expense of the man's personal enjoyment.
It wouldn't surprise me that someone like yourself would describe such a woman as a, "strong woman".
