  • Gay people have a lot of power and influence in society because they are strong as a group. The difference between them and straight people is that they have something in common, a trait that unites them and makes them fight for a cause that is worthwhile.Because for them, their sexuality is what defines them the most. And even though they are a minority, they can put their voices in unison and create the same echo. Unlike straight people who are more in numbers, but are very different in mentality and standpoint. They have more voices, but every voice is echoing differently. Corporations, the government and the media are fully aware of that. They know that the gay community has a strong group mentality. They know they can get lots of votes from them. They are easy to market to. So they will pretend to support and understand them but they're only using them as another demographic. Every apparent charity act has a hidden motive at it's core. Mostly the personal gain of wealthy corporate people. So, in the end, it's imperative for the government to provide protection for such a cash cow of a community.

And regarding the regular people who get offended by homophobic remarks, they are nothing but clueless sheep and hippies who lack common sense. Blind, ignorant bandwagon followers who ride the trend for everything it's worth so they can be a part of the herd. It's what validates their pathetic existence. Because it's all the rage to be a social justice warrior these days.
