Seems like my old friends hate reconnecting

I started college fall 2018 and I don't have friends anymore. I still have all my old friends from high school online but we have barely talked, maybe once or twice since high school.
I have social anxiety and usually reconnecting with people stresses me out but I try to give them the benefit of the doubt and believe they are still nice and still want to talk.
Doesn't really work like that though
